Kisses

Do you remember the first time we kissed? 
I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't 
But reading that journal entry again made me relive it 
It was meant to be a chaste goodnight kiss 
that quickly turned into a passionate French kiss 
What I do remember most was the last time we kissed
We had already broken up by then
I guess it was my last attempt but as soon as it was over, 
it was clear that what was broken could not be mended.
