Comic Fiesta 2011 Ticket Pre-Order

Hey everyone,

more updates about Comic Fiesta 2011!!! You can now pre-order tickets and skip the massive queue on the day of the event itself.

You can also save money (RM5) and save it to spend on doujins,anime and also manga stuff :D The tickets for the pre-order will be RM25 for both days compared to RM15 per day on the event day itself so win win situation.You get to skip the queue and also save money :D

The pre-order closes on 30th November so whatcha waiting for? head on over here and pre-order them! Comic Fiesta accepts bank transfer,wang pos and Paypal!!! however if you are low on cash now,you can always buy the tickets at the event itself.

You can also buy the tickets at Comic Fiesta's retail partners which are Animetech (however i heard they have run out >.<), Suncomics, Little Akiba (which i heard they still have :D) and Cosplayer

So hurry on now and buy them before it's too late :)

Comic Fiesta 2010 Review

Finally after all the lovely picture flood,here comes the crunching review.I shall list pros and cons and suggestions

Pros

Air con was not so freezing

Lighting was slightly better

booths were slightly better positioned

better more awesome cosplayers

Cons (unfortunately its quite a number)

space was too small!!! i could barely walk,i'm slightly clastophobic when there is a crowd.some guy nearly elbowed my face while shoving me.I'm not of average height so while other people might get elbowed in the arm,i can possibly get elbowed in the face.

Not enough resting place.We as in me,MG & Shawn literally sit on the sidewalks just to get a break

Not enough lifts & escalators.I heard there was a hidden escalator.why hide it,idiots.Waiting for the lift was like hell.In the end,on day 1,me and MG walked 14 floors down when my dad came to pick me up and on day 2,we plus Shawn walked down four floors for lunch and came up four floors again for CF.

Not enough walking space between doujins.I could be looking at something and next minute get shoved because people want to get through me.not cool at all.

Phil Ortiz & Phil Yeh had their booth near the exit?! that is not cool at all.why are their booths placed near the exit anyways?

Pricing for doujin items.I get that they have to make money for rent and etc but rm50 for a domokun hat when i can pay rm35 for a domokun shirt is just not cool especially when the doujin booth that sells the domokun hat sells a totoro one at like rm30?

Crew who were blur.Yes,i get the crew are volunteers but still i guess they need full information.I came to Comic Fiesta day 1 which was like chaos with all the people waiting for their tickets.I tried asking where to get my media pass which they could barely tell me and later Dustyhawk told me that can only get through him.confusing betul.

Food was really far.Nearest was the food court on the 10th floor @-@

Suggestions

straightforwardly a better venue is needed.I'm not saying go back to Sunway but still its one of the best places.More resting places,please?Of course a better way to get to ground floor if the event is held at upper levels.Food booths and also a booth for water please?That's just my suggestions.

I really hope Comic Fiesta 2011 will be bigger and better :)

Comic Fiesta 2010 Day 2

I got to Comic Fiesta day 2 late because i went to see The Guy's graduation exhibition at Central Market Annexe first.

First thing that greeted me when i got onto the fourteen floor of Berjaya Times Square hotel was DMC (detroit metal city)

MG was late and i didn't have shawn's contact number so i walked around and snapped pictures while i waited for him

This guy is awesomely cool.I think i saw him at other ACG events before.

Comic Fiesta 2010 Day 1

There are only two words to truly describe Comic Fiesta 2010.EXTREMELY CROWDED!!!

I got there about 10am so that i could collect my pass.I never anticipated the crowd!!!

And those are just a portion of the people still waiting for tickets.Those who got it earlier were sitting around.I went and met up with MG and his friend Shawn.Pretty much,i was with them the whole day.One little known fact about me,i get claustrophobic if there are too many people.It does not help that i'm small size that people can easily elbow my face without intending to while they are shoving me out of the way (that actually nearly happened)

Nips had a pretty nice booth once you go into the ballroom.They had really pretty maids giving out Nips and also a lifesize box that you could take pictures in.Danbo nearly got stuck in the box @-@ Nips was just one of the many booths there.There was a Hoyu booth,Lim Kok Wing University College booth,NekoTales :),The Figure Mall and many many others.The doujin booths were awesome too unfortunately i was a little too broke :(

And of course,no ACG is complete without Guest 18's beloved shiryuu :P

There was also a Danny Choo booth

Next up is long because cosplayers pictures.Of course no Comic Fiesta is complete without the cosplayers so let the pictures flood begin!

I sort of met Phil Ortiz too!!! Okies,i did not exactly met him but i got a picture of him.He's nice :)

Of course the maids from Nips were popular too :) they had a regular stream of guys and girls as well asking to pose with them for pictures for like the whole day.

This was the most awesome cosplay of all time!!! but i did not manage to get a good shot :( space and lens constrain.

Pedobear decide to make an appearance too.I hope he got no lolis.

This is the only shot of the stage i got thanks to MG who is much taller than me and because of the crowd,i barely got to see anything that was going on the stage.

Last but not least,domokun!!! :P
