If you didn't already know,there was a lockdown @-@ enforced by the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre security personnel and this caused massive chaos hence in the midst of it all,me and WH got caught up in it as well but thanks to two very comic fiesta committee/volunteers who are Choo & Clow,we managed to get in the hall in the end.
These are just maybe 2/4 of the people affected by the lockdown
A little bit of back story here-me & WH went for lunch and didn't anticipate the lockdown at all,my friend called me up and asked me about it but i didn't know anything about it until we got back to the convention centre.I could have gone in because i had a pass but the guard was being such a b-word about it although the committee wanted to let me in and WH couldn't get in at all because he didn't have a pass,only his ticket band.WH had a competition to get to in the hall by 3pm and at that time,it was nearly 2.15pm hence we did not know how long we have to wait and technically WH is my crew member as he had to help me take shots from a higher angle on ground of the event since i'm limited due to my height so we explained our situation to Choo when we managed to get into the holding hall itself and he got us through the ropes holding the people back then i managed to speak to Clow who got WH a pass like mine.Thanks so much to both of them :)
Now onto the happy stuff :) Comic Fiesta 2011 day 1 is as always crazy with cosplayers getting ready and trying to figure out places to change and do their preparation and also photographers trying to figure out the best settings for their cameras as well as potential locations to have cosplayers to do more exotic photoshoots around the venue. The venue was so much bigger this time around and with a holding hall for people who wanted to purchase their tickets or to collect their tickets and also for cosplayers who wanted to get ready,the hallway seemed very empty compared to past years of comic fiesta that i have been to. Shimokawa Mikuni & Ceui even did a performance :) which i unforunately missed 3/4 of it due to the convention centre's security personnel but i managed to get some shots when the committee wasn't stopping me :P

There was even a Marvel Vs Capcom preliminary tournament on day 1 however as me and WH had to leave early so we didn't stay on for the rest of day 1.
